Well, at least the Cubs won...

So I put it quite a few hands yesterday night while watching the Cubs game and played pretty much like a total idiot...end result could have been worse, I suppose. But it always sucks to look back on several hours of work and say, "hmm, well, that was a complete waste of time."


July has been light on the poker overall. I think this is the fewest hands I've put in for a month all year. Was running really hot at the beginning of the month, and I have that horrible lifestyle leak where I feel much more compelled to play when I am running bad than when I am running well. And, of course, this past week I decided I was going to try to get a bunch of hands in before the end of the month and promptly got doomswitched. Life is hard sometimes.


This was June, for comparison. Best month I've had this year. Would be nice to have a few more like this before the year is out...

It's been super busy at work (grumble grumble freshman orientation/start of school year/doing the work of 2-3 people) so I haven't had any time to write long, boring entries this month. But I am going to make an effort to be extra wordy in August to make up for it--look out!

Someone in my office keeps making coffee with only half of the coffee package. I have no idea why. It is disgusting and putting me on severe life tilt.
